When 18-year-old Evgeny met 17-year-old Ulyana Petrova, the coach and family were alarmed: the youth had clubs and parties in their heads, and he should take medals. Zhenya bought a separate apartment, took the girl with him, but three years later they broke up. Ulyana later claimed: Plushenko’s mother played an important role in this.
It’s funny, but Maria Yermak was familiar with Petrova from school and knew that Ulyana was dating a skater. Therefore, the story of a chance meeting between Masha and Zhenya in a traffic jam on a St. Petersburg street seems doubtful. But there was a magnificent wedding with a banquet and the first wedding night in the Astoria. The powerful security officers of the father-in-law, the St. Petersburg bathing king Georgy Yermak, who paid for the event, guarded the young from prying eyes. Apparently, this daughter-in-law Tatiana Plushenko suited. But the problems started right away. Maria demanded attention to herself, and the figure skater had the Olympics in Turin on her nose – Alexei Yagudin had already finished his career, and Evgeny unequivocally claimed gold.
In general, a year later Plushenko ran away from his pregnant wife. He said Yermak wanted him to join his father’s business and hang those stupid skates on a nail. Maria did not publicly voice her version, but the courts dragged on for a couple of years. The son, who after birth received the name Christian Plushenko, was renamed Yegor Yermak and forbade his father to see him. Only a few years later, Zhenya got the opportunity to communicate with Yegor.

In 2007, in London, at the Russian Winter festival, two loneliness met: 32-year-old Yana Rudkovskaya, who was then suing Viktor Baturin, and 25-year-old Evgeni Plushenko, who was also in the process of divorcing and sharing his son.
“I went on the attack, I realized that this was my woman,” Zhenya said later.
“I couldn’t resist, on the same evening everything happened with us, and we didn’t part anymore,” Yana flirted.
We got married in 2009. From the outside it seemed: too different. But it seems that this couple is perfect: Rudkovskaya rules, Plushenko obeys. Yana, unlike Maria, saw the benefits in the position of a famous athlete and, on the contrary, drove her husband to the ice.

What was the show worth before the Sochi Olympics! The championship of Russia was then won by Maxim Kovtun – young, talented, impudent. 32-year-old, covered in injuries, Zhenya, whose triumphant return was trumpeted on every corner, became the second. But only one participant could go to the Games from Russia. And they dragged Plushenko through. The scheme was like this – he rides in the team competition to win the first gold in this discipline. He does not have enough strength for personal, let him imitate an injury. The agreement was leaked by Zhenya himself, blurting out in an interview that he would withdraw after the commander. Max was left behind, Plyushch became a two-time Olympic champion. Yana showed the bolts in her husband’s spine to the whole country to be believed. They say they are now in a vase in a place of honor at the entrance to his academy. Well, how is it … Yana manages there, of course.
Once, on one of the forums about figure skating, I saw a post by a resident of the village of Gorki 10, where the star family lives. They then built a skating rink and blocked the passage, and even gouged all the way with trucks. And they sent them away to complaints and attempts to negotiate: they say that we turn back whatever we want. I then contacted the lady and asked to tell the details. She refused: after several months of hassle, the situation was nevertheless resolved, and the neighbors were afraid to spoil relations with Rudkovskaya again.

As the wife of a champion, Yana considers herself a guru in figure skating. He likes to talk about the fairness of estimates and the prospects of athletes. What can we say about the show – this is her element! For the past two years, she has taken on the mission of hosting. What, money for a professional is not enough? – the audience is surprised and rolls with laughter when Yana cannot pronounce the name of the capital of the Games – 2018 Pyeongchang, calling it either Kyeongchang or Pchehan. Her phrase “the skeleton of the Open” has long been winged among the fans.
It was sad only when a student of Alexei Mishin, Evgeny Semenenko, was injured on her show. Yana cuts down the site, arranging expensive VIP seats right on the ice. And skaters are used to a certain size. In addition, it was dark, only searchlights around the perimeter. Zhenya was blinded when entering the quadruple jump, and he kissed his head on the ice.

– We did not ask to jump quads, the athletes themselves! – Rudkovskaya fought back, while Semenenko came to his senses in intensive care. And already at the next shows she broadcast: they are cooler than Navka or Averbukh, because the skaters do complex elements. And she drove the participants until they jumped cleanly. Eyewitnesses said: they left behind the student of the academy only when she burst into tears after three terrible falls. The rest, including Sasha Trusova, who did not participate in the competition due to injuries, had to resist.
By the way, about Sasha. Having got a star in the show, Yana decided to squeeze everything out of her. For the right to take a picture after the show, you need to buy at least five (!) certain items from the collection of clothes, bags, caps with images of Sasha’s five dogs. It pulls at least 15 thousand, but the young skaters tearfully beg their parents to fork out for the sake of a picture with their idol. And it would be nice if the clothes were of high quality, otherwise they are cheap Chinese.

To some, Yana Rudkovskaya resembles the fabulous Cinderella. Say, she came from the outback and achieved everything herself. How to look. She was born in Kustanai, grew up in Barnaul. My father was the head of a flight school, my mother was a doctor, and in Soviet times, you know, this gave no less than a solid bank account now.
Yana was moved to Sochi by businessman Yevgeny Mukhin, the owner of a local football club. Then she clung to Viktor Baturin – rich and well-connected, took him away from his friend Yulia Saltovets. Then, together with her husband, she took away her newborn son Andrei from her. Yana tried to pass off the boy as her own, but the dates did not fit: after all, she also gave birth to a son from Baturin – Nikolai. Then they launched a version about the refusal of the mother from the child and denounced Yulia throughout the country.

Divorce with Baturin turned into a war. He wanted to return his investments, Yana fought for money, beauty salons, Dima Bilan and children. And she did, so she’s more of a superhero. True, the father sued the children at first, but in 2011 he was imprisoned (there were rumors: Yana had a hand in it), and she took the boys.
In 2013, Yana and Evgeny had a son, Sasha. Nicknamed the baby Gnome Gnomych, the couple began to invest in him from both sides. Yana started pages on social networks and pulled up sponsors. The wife was ordered to put the boy on skates, although dad dreamed of making a football player out of the guy. But Rudkovskaya had her own plan: the Dwarf would surpass his father. A ten-year-old guy is still broadcasting about “his” dream: to win medals in six Olympics. And the journalists paid by Yana praise his talents and victories in all competitions. It’s funny: “all competitions” are a couple of tournaments, jokingly called “mother’s joy”, in which there were 3-4 participants, and everything is weaker than the Gnome. So Sasha is far from his peers, at his age he easily jumps all triples.

Another child was entrusted to give birth to a surrogate mother. The husband was categorically against it. But when did this stop Rudkovskaya? Arseny was born in 2020. Now Yana proudly calls herself the mother of four sons and threatens to have another daughter.

The persistent rumor about Rudkovskaya’s age is indestructible. Say, she knocked off her seven years. Adherents of this version pass a verdict on the photographs of Yana: they say that for 48 she looks a little bad, but for 55 – very nothing! Rudkovskaya claims that this rumor was launched out of revenge by Baturin. They were together for seven years, that’s how much he added. Yana once showed our journalist Mikhail Vasiliev a birth certificate and a passport, where the year of birth is 1975. As if the documents cannot be changed! But we will not argue here, there are no witnesses.
