Then, two evenings ago, Milena Santirocco, the dance teacher from Lanciano, who disappeared following going for a walk in Torino di Sangro, “reappeared” in the province of Caserta in Castel Volturno. The woman will have to clarify what happened in this period of time in which traces of her were lost. “She presented herself spontaneously at a police station in the province of Caserta. The truth regarding Milena Santirocco’s strange mystery arrived during the night. Her version of events had not convinced her from the first moments. The prosecutor’s office had already opened a case for kidnapping. “She did not voluntarily leave her home,” said Antonio Cozza, lawyer for the family of the missing dance and fitness teacher. But she was the 54-year-old herself who proved herself wrong. “I wasn’t kidnapped, I wanted to kill myself,” she allegedly confessed in a second interrogation. “I wanted to take my own life,” she reiterated.
