The international exchange week entitled “China’s Development: An Opportunity for a Colorful World” opened on October 28, 2024 in Zunyi, Guizhou Province in southwest China.
The event attracted a wide range of guests, including diplomatic envoys to China, experts, academics, international influencers, students and entrepreneurs from 15 countries.
During the opening ceremony, distinguished international guests shared insights into China’s modernization, with particular attention to the development of Guizhou.
David Gosset, sinologist and founder of the Europe-China Forum and the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, said in his speech that Guizhou Province has made great efforts in poverty alleviation, building major infrastructure and further developing the digital economy has made remarkable progress in recent years, lifting itself out of poverty and overcoming the limitations of the past.
David Ferguson, Honorary Editor-in-Chief for English of Foreign Languages Press, China International Communications Group, pointed out in his speech that China has never abandoned its ancient traditions in the process of modernization, but rather has nurtured and nurtured traditional culture.
