“The Intense Battle of Stanley Cup Playoffs: Golden Knights vs. Oilers”

2023-05-14 13:05:05

All Stanley Cup playoffs, whether it’s a first-round series or the final series, always represent trench battles.

The intensity is at its maximum between two teams that face each other for a minimum of four games in a row and a maximum of seven games.

The two teams therefore very quickly end up hating each other’s face in a series.

The dirty blows, the mockery, and the big checks therefore become more and more regular the more a series advances.

Especially when it’s a series between two teams that already hated each other during the regular season.

This is currently the case between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Edmonton Oilers.

We are entitled to a very tight series between two good hockey teams, and therefore, the intensity is in full swing with each game.

And this intensity can be expressed by dirty blows and attempts to hurt opposing players.

We had a good example of this towards the end of game number 4 when Alex Pietrangelo dealt a violent blow with the stick to Leon Draisaitl.

It’s a dirty move with the sole purpose of hurting the opponent.

One might even say that it is an ax blow.

Everyone therefore expected to see Pietrangelo suspended for at least two games, but in the end he was suspended for only one game, just like Darnell Nurse.

So Pietrangelo will be back in action tonight for Game 6, and on the sidelines of that game, Pietrangelo had this to say.

Golden Knights No. 7 can be heard complaining regarding premeditated attacks by Oilers players on Golden Knights players.

Pietrangelo therefore insinuates that Oilers players have been trying to hurt Knights players since the start of the series.

He also claims he made a complaint to the NHL when he met for his suspension, but the league didn’t seem to take it seriously.

Pretty crazy statement coming from the guy who made the most obvious premeditated act in this series.

I’m not saying the Oilers don’t do dirty tricks, but let’s say Pietrangelo is currently in a bad position to talk.

I can’t wait to see how Game 6, which will take place in Edmonton tonight starting at 10 p.m., will go.

It might brew.

A lot of

– A crucial game tonight in Edmonton.

– He should be back.

– A big win for CF Montreal. That makes six in a row, including four in MLS.

– Here is the first goal of the game.

– Good for him and the Red Sox.
