Before imparting the final blessing of the completed liturgical act, which was led by the visiting priest, Monsignor José de la Trinidad Fernández, the Rector of the Niño Jesús Sanctuary, José Magdaleno Álvarez, read a prayer that was distributed to the faithful present.

“I believe in you and I love you. I am grateful for the life you have given me. Hoping that you will give me eternal life, I ask forgiveness for my sins:

Have mercy on me, on my family and on the whole world, give us your wonderful protection.

I ask you this through the intercession of Our Lady of Coromoto and your Servant Blessed José Gregorio.”
