Omar Suwain’ Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and a number of ministry leaders, received a high-level Omani delegation, headed by Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, in the context of enhancing joint cooperation and discussing investment opportunities between the UAE and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman.
Al-Suwaidi accompanied Al-Yousef and the accompanying delegation on a tour to the Khalifa Industrial City “Kizad”, once morest the backdrop of an official visit by the Omani minister to the UAE, at the head of an industrial and commercial delegation, in order to strengthen bilateral relations and expand partnership frameworks between the two countries.
This visit comes within the Emirati-Omani fraternal and strategic relations, exploring joint cooperation opportunities and expanding partnership horizons at all governmental and private levels, especially in the sectors of industry, advanced technology, quality infrastructure and others.
The delegation was received during the visit to the headquarters of the Khalifa Industrial City “Kizad”, Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, who gave a presentation on the advanced industrial city, followed by a tour of the Abu Dhabi Ports facility for logistics services and the Center for Maritime Navigation Services.
The Omani delegation, which included Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Oman’s ambassador to the country, Mohsen bin Khamis Al Balushi, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in the Sultanate, and Engineer Rida bin Juma Al Saleh, President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was accompanied by a number of senior officials and heads of sectors in the Sultanate.
