Wearing their traditional attributes, symbols of power, the indigenous people made a remarkable and noted passage in front of the official platform, drawing loud applause from the population and especially from the President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, also supreme head of the defense and security forces, who stood with his military salute.

The Head of State Umaro Sissoco Embaló, from Guinea Bissau and several representatives of the heads of state of ECCAS attended this military parade which was not only on foot, but also motorized, naval and air.

The Gabonese number one, accompanied by the First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema, did not fail to decorate with the “Dignity of Grand Cross in the Order of Equatorial Merit” before the launch of this military parade, Catherine Mba (106), the widow of the late President Léon Mba, father of Gabonese Independence.
