The Indian Cricket Team will reach Thiruvananthapuram on the 13th ODI

Thiruvananthapuram∙ The India and Sri Lanka teams will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on the 13th for the ODI match to be held at the Kariyavattam Greenfield Stadium on the 15th of this month. India and Sri Lanka will face each other in three Twenty20 matches and three ODI matches. The final match of the ODI series will be played at Kariyavattam Greenfield Stadium. After the second ODI in Kolkata on 12th of this month, both the teams will reach Thiruvananthapuram on 13th and start training at Greenfield Stadium on 14th.

The Sri Lankan team will train from 1 pm to 4 pm on the 14th and the Indian team from 5 pm to 8 pm. The Indian team is staying at Hotel Hyatt Regency and the Sri Lankan team is staying at Hotel Vivanta. The match will start on January 15 at 1.30 pm. This is the second ODI to be played at the Greenfield Stadium in Karivattam. The first one-day international match at the stadium was held on November 1, 2018. India had won the match once morest West Indies that day. After bowling West Indies out for 104 runs in 31.5 overs, India chased down the target with the loss of one wicket in 14.5 overs.

The first international match at the stadium was a Twenty20 match between India and New Zealand on November 7, 2017. India won the match which was reduced to eight overs due to rain. After that, Team India defeated the West Indies in the Twenty20 on December 8, 2019. The last Twenty20 match at the stadium was played on September 28, 2022 following a long break due to Covid. India won the match once morest South Africa.
