The Independent: Liverpool agree to Mohamed Salah’s demands and is close to renewing his contract

The British newspaper, The Independent, confirmed that the Liverpool administration agreed to the demands of our Egyptian star Mohamed Salah regarding the renewal of his contract with the team.

Mohamed Salah has a contract with Liverpool that expires following a year and a half, on June 30, 2023, and the Egyptian international has not yet reached an agreement on signing a new contract.

Liverpool wants to keep Salah at Anfield, and Mo is also keen to stay, but there is a dispute between the two parties over the salary, as the English Premier League runner-up refuses to do so for not breaking the salary ceiling within the club.

According to the British newspaper, the Liverpool administration agreed to pay 400,000 pounds per week to Salah to prevent him from leaving the club.

The newspaper did not specify the term of Salah’s new contract with him Liverpooland whether it will remain until 2025 or 2026.

Salah this season with Liverpool, he participated in 40 games in various competitions, scored 28 goals and provided 11 assists.
