“I remind you that there is a pending matter from 2017 regarding the OASTH, which is in special liquidation. In the coming months you will see 110 new electric buses circulating on the streets of Thessaloniki, but we have strengthened the OASTH with staff, 150 contracted drivers and in the following days a request has been made by the administration and the political leadership of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for another 40 drivers, so that there is even more fleet on the streets of Thessaloniki. Certainly until the metro starts operating in November 2024,” he said.
