[LONDON]After returning from a visit to Israel, US President Joe Biden delivered a speech from the US White House on the 19th, saying, “Success for Israel and Ukraine is essential to our national security.” Mr. Biden will ask the US Congress for an additional $100 billion in funding, including $14 billion in support for Israel and $61 billion for Ukraine and stockpile replenishment.
Meanwhile, on the 20th, Hamas released an American woman and her teenage daughter among the 203 hostages held in response to Qatar’s mediation efforts.
