Internal medicine specialist, Dr. Kamila Isaeva, announced that incorrect nutrition plays a major role in the appearance of wrinkles, dry skin, and dull complexion.
She pointed out that food additives that include flavors, preservatives, dyes and thickeners can accelerate the aging of the body.

According to her, sugar has a very negative effect on the skin, because its excess causes protein breakdown in the body, which leads to the production of toxins that break down collagen in the skin and make it less elastic.

The doctor attributes sausage and sausage to harmful substances, noting that these substances increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. It can also stimulate diabetes and colon cancer. Therefore, it is recommended to replace them with healthy fats.

“People who eat a lot of docosahexaenoic acid, which is the basis of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, rarely develop Alzheimer’s disease. That is why it is very important to add different sources of omega-3s to the diet,” she said.

She indicated the need to compensate for the lack of vitamins and mineral elements in the body. It also advised not to prepare food in a pressure cooker or grill, because high temperatures destroy regarding 90 percent of the nutrients in food. Also, at high temperatures, fats release carcinogenic chemical compounds.

And she concluded her speech – alcohol also accelerates the aging process, is harmful to mental health and accelerates the weakening of cognitive functions. According to her, the results of a scientific study showed that Alzheimer’s disease develops among alcoholic drinkers, on average, five years earlier, compared to those who do not drink alcohol.
