Myriam Ullens, born Lechien, was 70 years old when she was shot dead outside her home in Lasne, according to the first elements of the investigation, by Nicolas Ullens of Schooten, the son of her husband Guy Ellens of Schooten Whettnall.

Entrepreneur at heart

Myriam Lechien was born in Cologne and spent her childhood in Germany, a country where her father was an officer in the Belgian army. It is from the age of 15 that she lives in Belgium where she resides in boarding school. She will live in Namur then in Liège as part of her studies.

The deceased was an ambitious woman and a woman entrepreneur. At the age of 24, she created her first fresh salad delivery business before opening a high-end Sweetly avenue Louise pastry shop in Brussels a few years later.
