The events that have occurred in recent times have led to a despair among us that clearly affects the health of the society in which we live.
This has motivated a loss, that of being able to achieve things that are desired, longed for or dreamed of and that, for different reasons, have not been able to be achieved.
The lack of unity and the successive confrontations brought as a consequence a change of mood in the population, which affects personal relationships and produces an endless number of setbacks that negatively altered the possibility of establishing a true meeting between us.
We need to hope once more; get to obtain the possibility of concretizing things that we want so much; meet each other.
Last week, in our temple, the person who was preaching on this subject said to those of us who were there, “Why don’t you hug whoever is next to you?”
The truth is that this expression was a bit strange at first, but when some began to do it, an atmosphere of affection and cordiality arose among those present, including those who did not know each other, which surprised us all.
It is incredible how a hug can break barriers of separation and show all that can be achieved through the encounter.
We need to hug each other more. Finding ourselves allows us to strengthen hope. The apostle Paul writes to the Romans and tells them: “May the God of hope fill you who believe in him with all joy and peace, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans, Ch. 15 , Vers. 13).
God willing that joy and inner peace can be a reality in our society every day, so that hope for a better future is not a utopia, but the realization of everything we long for.
As the Preamble to the Constitution of Argentina says: “…with the purpose of constituting the national union, strengthening justice, consolidating internal peace, providing for the common defense, promoting the general welfare, and ensuring the benefits of freedom for us, for our posterity, and for all the men of the world who want to live on Argentine soil: invoking the protection of God, source of all reason and justice”. God bless you.
