MILAN (ITALY), May 18 (Benin Actu/EP) –
Huawei presented in Europe its latest foldable phone, the Mate Xs2, a device that improves the hinge with a rotation system that avoids creases that form on the screen of use, and which will arrive on the European market in June, in three colors.
The Mate Xs2 has been known since its presentation on the Chinese market at the end of April. At the time, the company introduced a foldable smartphone that featured a single, AMOLED-like display that covered the entire phone.
This mobile device was presented this Wednesday in the European market, within the framework of the ‘House of Huawei’ event that the company organized in Milan, Italy, It will be available in June for 1,999 euros with a configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal capacity.
The design chosen by Huawei means that, stretched, the screen of the Mate Xs2 measures 7.8 inches, with a Full HD resolution of 2,840 x 2,200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz,
When closed, it surrounds the body of the handset and, in practice, the screen overflows the side limit to extend to the rear.
Precisely on the back is the front camera, a three-lens system headed by a 50 megapixel (MP) sensor, with a 13 MP wide-angle and 8 MP optical telephoto lens and up to three magnifications. The front camera is punched in one corner.
The new foldable incorporates a 4,600mh battery, with a 66 watt fast charging system, which charges 90% in 30 minutes. It runs on HarmonyOS and the EMUI 12 personalization layer, which introduces dynamic themes and multitasking between apps.
Although it is a foldable device, the company highlighted its lightness, with a weight of 255 grams, and its thinness, with a profile of 5.4 mm. The screen is flat thanks to a rotating Falcon hinge, which prevents creases from forming in the middle from wear and tear. The fiberglass case is available in three colors: black, white and purple.
