ALGIERS – The Huawei Algeria company has been certified, for the fourth consecutive time, “Top Employer 2024” in Algeria by the “Top Employers Institute” in recognition of the “excellence” of its human resources practices, indicates a press release from the Chinese company specializing in telecommunications.
Each year, the Top Employers Institute, “a global benchmark for recognizing excellence in human resources practices”, certifies companies that are committed to creating the best possible working environment for their employees, by adopting policies and HR practices placing people at the heart of their concerns, notes Huawei.
The Top Employers Institute certification program is based on evaluating companies based on their participation and performance in the HR Best Practices Survey.
This study examines six main areas of human resources namely “manage, organize, attract, develop, engage and bring together”, subdivided into themes including “talent management strategy, work environment, talent acquisition , training and skills development, well-being at work, as well as diversity and inclusion.
On this occasion, the Executive President of Huawei Algeria, Eason Yi, stressed that this recognition is able to “contribute to establishing Huawei’s reputation as a benchmark employer in Algeria”, making its commitment to “put the human at the heart of the company’s strategy.
In 2024, the Top Employers Institute has certified 2,300 organizations in 121 countries around the world, adds the same source.
