The House of the Dead: Remake will be released on January 20th for PlayStation 5, Forever Entertainment has announced.

It will be available as a free upgrade for owners of the PS4 version of the game, which is currently 50% off until January 19th. The PC version of the game is also said to be available for half price on Steam from today until January 23rd. Forever Entertainment announced in 2019 that it had reached an agreement to remake The House of the Dead and The House of the Dead 2 signed but did not reveal target platforms or release timelines at the time. That House of the Dead Remake released for Nintendo Switch in April 2022 before hitting Steam, GOG, Xbox One, PS4, and Stadia later that same month. The game was released for the Xbox Series last September and is also available as a free upgrade for Xbox One version owners.
