A crucial $60.8 billion aid package for Ukraine to counter the invasion by Russia has been approved by the US House of Representatives following months of deadlock.

US President Joe Biden first requested the funding in October as Ukraine’s military supplies began to dwindle.
In February, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged Congress to approve the funding, saying failure to do so “will leave me wondering what world we live in.”
