It is said that the wife and daughter of the late Seo Se-won (67), a former comedian and businessman, have returned to Korea following organizing their lives in Cambodia. In the midst of this, controversy is expected with claims that it is already the third death in the hospital where Seo Se-won died.
According to YouTuber Lee Jin-ho on the 11th, the bereaved family returned to Korea following cremating Seo Se-won in Cambodia.
Lee Jin-ho said, “They say they won’t go to Cambodia anymore, but the real problem is their daughter. They say she’s 9 years old this year. This daughter doesn’t know the news of her father’s death yet.”
Then, “Seo Se-won was such a ‘daughter fool’, and the daughter said that she followed her father well. They were so close, but can a 9-year-old daughter endure the news of her father’s sudden death? So she said she mightn’t even talk regarding it. You may be aware of it, but considering the wounds, we haven’t talked regarding it yet.”
Lee Jin-ho also said that Seo Se-won’s bereaved family sent an official letter to the local police through the embassy in Cambodia asking for the clear cause of death of the deceased, but was ignored every time. The hospital side where the deceased died also insisted that they only repeat the words, “There was a problem with the hospital CCTV and we are restoring it.”
In particular, he claimed that the death case related to this hospital was the third to Seo Se-won. He continued, “No one took responsibility for those who died earlier. That’s why the bereaved family and officials do not trust the Cambodian police.”
Seo Se-won, who was staying in Cambodia, suffered a cardiac arrest at Mirae Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on the 20th of last month at 11:30 am (Korean time) while receiving intravenous injections. Afterwards, medical staff at a nearby general hospital attempted first aid, but he died at 3 p.m.
On the 28th, eight days following his death, the bereaved family cremated the body and moved the remains to Korea to hold a funeral.
