Black Friday time is bargain time! Does a luxury piece from Louis Vuitton really belong? This is questionable for many. But the comments on it are tough.

Munich – Black Friday on November 24th is just around the corner, and the world is already in bargain fever in the days leading up to it. Sure, you can treat yourself to something at reduced prices that you might not otherwise pay for. Our editorial team has also put together the best Black Friday tips for you, for example for Amazon or OTTO.

“Black Friday banger” for 84,000 euros: designer egg from Louis Vuitton

Things are also going well at MyDealz, where users share the best price discoveries all year round. A mega-laugh smuggled in between the real bargains and garnered more than 100 comments: a very special piece from Louis Vuitton. The user “x2hoT” posted it and labeled it a “Black Friday blast.” It is a hanging “sitting egg” designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana. He does not reveal where the user got the original price of 95,000 euros from. There is no actual connection to Black Friday to be found anywhere; he must have invented it. But the price quoted is real: The good piece costs 84,000 euros on the official Louis Vuitton homepage.

“I’m just here for the comments – and I think it’s great!”

“I’m just here because of the comments – and I think it’s great!” writes one user. And it seems to speak from the hearts of many others. Because users are falling over themselves with gags regarding the supposed Black Friday bargain. “Out of the way, you low-income earners, I’ll take 5 straight away,” urges one. “I’m going to order 6 pieces for the winter garden. “If you want to drink your canned beer in style with friends,” writes another. “Thank you, I bought 12 of them for the dining table, so I have a concrete use for the recently purchased Fischer dowels, which were heavily discounted!” is also said.

Some people are supposedly interested, but don’t have the necessary change. “Is organ donation also possible?”, “Where can you pay with a kidney, I only have Apple Pay or a credit card” and “The kidney isn’t enough,” they write. Or: “Finally a reason to waste my entire savings, my car and my kidney, thank you.”

The reference to the offer has also already landed on Facebook. “Finally a reasonable price! Although… reason actually fits into the sentence?” writes one user. “I would never buy something so cheap” and “I’m still thinking regarding it. Maybe I’ll trade in the Rolls,” are other comments there.

Louis Voutton’s supposed “Black Friday hit” gets a lot of laughs

Several people seem to share an association: “Suitable for the guest toilet,” writes more than just one user. “Saw a hole in it… Then it IS the guest toilet,” suggests one. “80 EUR and the beating is paid for,” one comment uses the classic saying from “Cash for Rares” Waldi. Another is probably referring to the gastro price explosion that is expected due to the VAT change when he writes: “For €84,000 I’d rather go out for a nice meal next year, then I’ll buy the rest from the innkeeper.”

A few find the fly in the ointment and are not afraid to point it out: “6 to 7 months delivery time. I would have taken one with me but so… no.” So it won’t be in time for Christmas. “I was just regarding to grab it when I saw that it was covered with calfskin. If it were vegan, I would have ordered it,” complains another. And a surprise awaits you when you click through the variants: “It’s cheaper in the color fuchsia,” notes one person with a screenshot. Because the piece of jewelry actually only costs 72,500 euros in the other version. What a bargain! Years ago there was a legendary Black Friday fail at Zara. (lin)
