The head of Rafic Hariri International Airport, Fadi al-Hassan, pointed out that the number of arrivals through the airport until yesterday approached 240,000, explaining that most of them are Lebanese expatriates who came to spend the holidays.
Al-Hassan told Asharq Al-Awsat that the figures for the month of December are usually the highest, but this number is the highest in two years in this month, and the number of arrivals is close to the number of passengers traveling through the airport in December, before the economic and financial crisis.
