The High Authority for Communication of Mali made public on Wednesday April 27 its decision to permanently suspend France 24 and RFI, which have not been broadcast in Mali since March 17.
France Médias Monde strongly contests such a measure. It will use all other possible remedies. We will continue to cover the news at Mali which concerns the whole of Africa as well as the rest of the world.
All technical solutions will be implemented to make our media accessible to Malians who wish to continue to receive free, expert information that is open to the world. FMM reiterates its attachment to independence and freedom of information.
