Youssef Chahine directed regarding 40 films, through 12 of which he was able to enter the list of the 100 best Egyptian films, in addition to receiving awards for the most prominent films that he directed, and below we will show you the most prominent films that won awards:

The film “The Choice” by the international Youssef Chahine won the Golden Tanit Award from the Carthage Film Festival in 1970. The screenplay was written by writer Naguib Mahfouz.

The film revolves around a murder committed by a person with schizophrenia, “schizophrenia,” and a group of stars, the most prominent of whom are Souad Hosni, Izzat Al-Alayli, Hoda Sultan, Mahmoud Al-Meligy, Youssef Wehbe, and others, co-star in it.
