The healthy walks “Well-being at the End” continue

In this sense, the head of the INFUETUR Destination Management department, told Silvina Cárdenas that “We carry out this walk next to the Luccau with the aim of bringing people closer to nature, promoting healthy habits of prevention with outdoor activities. We have been holding two days where the participants were able to connect with nature, learn more regarding the flora and landscapes of Tierra del Fuego”.

He also commented that This action is part of the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Tourism (PETS TDF 2025) in the project “Tourism as a Tool for Inclusion” and in those that refer to inter-institutional relations and work with the community.

For her part, the medical director of LUCCAU and head of Oncology at the San Jorge Sanatorium, Verónica Baró highlighted that “the walks allow us to carry out physical activity that is so important for everyone, they provide a benefit for cancer patients in treatment and during their recovery, and also invites them to have contact with nature knowing our place, our land, learning to connect with the elements that the natural environment offers us.”

In this activity we carry out a guided meditation and breathing activity, encouraging the participants to practice contact with nature.value silence, listen to our interior and the ambient sound from the outside, and share sensations, thoughts and emotions”, added the Doctor.

It should be noted that this series of free activities will continue over the coming months, making a monthly outing to see different places near our city. The next walk is scheduled for December 17, and registrations will be announced through the social networks of INFUETUR and LUCCAU.

From both institutions they thanked everyone who joined in the two editions, highlighting the collaboration of Fueguina Salud, the Argentine Red Cross subsidiary Ushuaia and the Ushuaia Naval Hospital, as well as the Cerro Alarken Nature Reserve, the Arakur hotel and the Wyndham Hotel Garden Ushuaia.
