Las country people enjoy some healthy benefits that are lacking in people of the city. There are numerous studies that appear and demonstrate the need for urbanites to recover the contact with the nature.

Country walks improve our physical and emotional well-being. Contact with nature stimulates metabolismhelp to boost the immune system y reduces stress levels. But little had been analyzed, beyond verifying that the air is purer, how the forest acts on us.

Why is hearing so important in nature?

For the first time, research has been done to analyze which senses, activities and natural elements are most important for that satisfactory and beneficial connection with the natural environment to occur.

In the study have participated more than a thousand people from 35 countries. And what they have discovered is that the nature sounds are the element that more contributes to well-being that people experience during those walks in the woods or other natural areas. This finding places the ear above the rest of the senses, including sight.
