For the first time, research has been done to analyze which senses, activities and natural elements are most important for that satisfactory and beneficial connection with the natural environment to occur.
In the study have participated more than a thousand people from 35 countries. And what they have discovered is that the nature sounds are the element that more contributes to well-being that people experience during those walks in the woods or other natural areas. This finding places the ear above the rest of the senses, including sight.
