The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received, on Monday in Rabat, Mr. Ahmed Lahlimi, High Commissioner for Planning, who was accompanied by officials from the HCP.
This meeting focused on the examination of the most important projects and programs to be implemented by the High Commission for the Plan and which are likely to advance the action of this institution, indicates a press release from the department of the head of government, adding that the two parties also discussed the means of improving and developing the work of the High Commission for Planning and strengthening the coordination mechanisms between the various state institutions, particularly in areas related to statistical data.

The meeting was also an opportunity to underline the importance of the work accomplished by the HCP as a steering mechanism and permanent follow-up of the evolution of a set of issues, sectors and indicators within the society, which would help the government to develop programs and propose appropriate and effective solutions, underlines the press release.
