The hat-trick machine never stops.. Haaland’s terrifying numbers in the English Premier League

Erling Haaland scored his team’s three goals, a hat-trick, against host West Ham United, in the 10th, 30th, and 83rd minutes of the match that brought them together on Saturday evening, in the third round of the English Premier League.

While the home team’s goal came from “friendly fire” scored by Portuguese defender Ruben Dias as an own goal in the 19th minute of the match at the London Olympic Stadium.

The Norwegian striker led his team, Manchester City, to achieve its third consecutive victory, and to top the tournament with a full score of 9 points.

Haaland managed to score a hat-trick in the second match in a row, after the first against Ipswich Town, in addition to a goal against Chelsea in the opening round of the Dollar, raising his tally to 7 goals and topping the Premier League scorers list.

According to the statistics network “Opta”, Haaland became the first player to score a hat-trick in two of his team’s first three matches in the English Premier League in one season since Paul Jewell with Bradford in the 1994-1995 season.

The Norwegian star became the second player to score a hat-trick in two consecutive matches, after the achievement of the English star Harry Kane, the former Tottenham striker and current Bayern Munich player.

Haaland scored his 11th hat-trick for Manchester City since joining them in the summer of 2022, and his eighth in the English Premier League, continuing his march towards the top of the list of those who scored the most hat-tricks in the Premier League, which is topped by Argentine Sergio Aguero, the former Manchester City striker, with 12 hat-tricks.

Press reports indicated that the 24-year-old Norwegian striker has scored his 24th hat-trick in his football career so far.
