Joana Sanz, wife of Dani Alves, reacted through her official Instagram account after the decision that sent the footballer to jail. The model published a painful message where she asks the media not to persecute her.
The investigating judge in charge of hearing the Brazilian’s case agreed to send him to prison without the right to bail. An accusation of sexual assault is pending on the player, a fact that would have been raised in a nightclub in Barcelona.
On January 2, the Catalan police received a complaint from a woman who claimed to have suffered unwanted touching by the footballer.
This fact was flatly denied by Alves “I don’t know her, I never saw her,” he said of the complainant. “I would like to deny everything,” he added, confirming that she was at the disco “enjoying” but “without invading the space of others.”
After learning of the determination, various media outlets were stationed outside Alves’ house seeking to get a reaction from his wife.
For this reason, the beautiful model decided to respond to this action, but not on the microphones but through social networks.
“I ask that the media outside my home please respect my privacy at this time. My mother has passed away a week ago,” she wrote in an Instagram story.

She also added: “I have barely begun to assume that she is no longer around to be tormented with my husband’s situation. I have lost the only two pillars of my life. Have a little empathy, instead of looking for so much news in other people’s pain, thank you, ”she lamented.
Joana’s mother passed away a few days ago due to cancer that was diagnosed in October 2022.
Dani Alves and Sanz met in 2016 while the Brazilian was playing for Barcelona and they got married a year later in Formentera.
