The handball team loses to Germany 35/34 in determining the positions of the World Handball Championship

Egypt’s men’s handball team lost to its German counterpart, 35/34, as part of the confrontations to determine positions from fifth to eighth in the World Championships held in Poland and Sweden.

The first half ended with a score of 14/17 in favor of the German national team, amidst the Pharaohs’ players seeking to win to improve the position of the Pharaohs in this version.

While the second half witnessed a remarkable superiority on the part of the Pharaohs to reduce the goal difference and then achieve a tie, to resort to extra time until it ended with Germany’s superiority by a goal difference.

The Egyptian men’s handball team lost to its Swedish counterpart yesterday, Wednesday, 26/22, in the framework of the quarter-finals of the 28th edition of the World Championship, which will continue until January 29, to compete with the team for places from fifth to eighth.
