London (ots/PRNewswire) – To honor the legacy of its co-founder Rose Mattus, Häagen-Dazs has launched “The Rose Project” for International Women’s Day 2023, a global initiative by the brand to award $100,000 (USD) scholarships to committed, strong women .
Today, November 23rd, Rose Mattus’ birthday, Häagen-Dazs celebrates by announcing the Top 50 #WomenWhoDontHoldBack nominees shortlisted for their outstanding achievements and the five internationally renowned members of the Häagen-Dazs Rose Jury known.
More than 2,500 nominations have been received for Häagen-Dazs’ “The Rose Project,” a project that honors the pioneering and social contributions of committed women around the world. 50 outstandingly inspiring women have now been shortlisted. You have the chance to one of five scholarships worth 20,000 dollars (USD) to enable them to continue their extraordinary work, to fully develop their potential or to support a project close to their hearts. The list of the top 50 includes women from a total of 17 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and North and South America. The history of all nominees is below to find.
For the final selection phase of “The Rose Project”, a top-class, female jury with members from all over the world was carefully selected by Häagen-Dazs. Inspired, passionate and representative of the global nature of the project and the brand, they will now become the five award winners appoint those who follow their own path with outstanding achievements and who most strongly embody the Häagen-Dazs “Don’t Hold Back” ethos.
The jury includes British author, charity founder and TV presenter Katie Piper, fashion entrepreneur and female fertility advocate Velda Tan from Singapore, Spanish entrepreneur and creative director Inés Arroyo, community builder and founder of the women’s community network “Lady Multitask” , Mercedes Palomar from Mexico, as well as the global managing director of Häagen-Dazs Shops, Aurélie Lory from France, representing the brand.
