The side of the house is designed to let in as much light as possible. In the house, I arrange many glass doors so that the space is both airy and easy to see the outside scenery. The ground floor includes the living room, kitchen, dining table, while the attic is a resting space and a bath.
Every corner of the house can enjoy the view of the mountains and hills of Da Lat. |
The furniture in the house is 80% antique, ordered by me from European countries to convey the true spirit of country style. It took me almost a year to gather most of my belongings.
The original wood material is the soul of the country-style house. In addition, I also incorporate fabrics with floral motifs, such as sofa covers, carpets…
Luxurious living room with sofa set as the highlight. In addition, I put a high ceiling wooden bookshelf to display books and comics. The kitchen is located next to a large window, in the middle is a dining table and chairs made of wood. Even the household items in the kitchen are white, vintage beige to harmonize with the overall.
In addition to the yellow light, I used candles to create a classic European atmosphere.
Next to the window are “chill” corners with vinyl players and scented candles. |
One of the most “chill” corners in the house is the bathtub near the floor-to-ceiling window. I would love to lie here and watch the sunset every followingnoon, slowly enjoy a glass of wine and light scented candles to relax.
To the side of the house is a spacious porch. Here, I can sit and drink tea, admire the scenery and enjoy the fresh air and fresh nature of Da Lat.
I also pay attention to the care of the surrounding landscape in parallel with finishing the interior. In addition to planting more trees, pruning the existing cherry trees, I plan to plant Japanese maple trees to make the garden more colorful.
