And the authority stated, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that “the weather forecasting department in the General Authority for Meteorology and Monitoring monitored its special report on the weather in the city of Basra for Monday and Tuesday due to the merger of two depressions, the first from the Red Sea and the second from the Mediterranean.”

And she added, “The weather in the city of Basra on Monday will be cloudy, accompanied by moderate to heavy rains, and the occurrence of thunderstorms sometimes that start in the morning and continue at intervals for the next day, with moderate southeasterly winds, speed (20-30) km / h. The visibility range is from (5-7). km and in rain (2-4) km, in addition to the expected temperatures (16) degrees Celsius and the expected minimum (11) degrees Celsius.

And the report continued: “The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with light to moderate rain falling in some places, including the morning, and the weather will gradually improve in the followingnoon, and the wind will be northeasterly moderate, speed (20-30) km / h, turning to light northwesterly to Moderate speed (10-20) km / h, especially the visibility range will be (5-7) km, and the expected maximum temperature is (14) degrees Celsius and the expected minimum is (9) degrees Celsius.
