The delegation of the National Soccer Team experienced chaos in their transfer from San José California, towards the city of Orlando Florida, since an electrical storm had them stranded for more than 12 hours.
Those selected and coaching staff spent the night at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, since, given the inconvenience, the company organizing the game between Guatemala and Mexico did not know how to solve the situation.
Some players settled on the ground and others sought the benches to rest in the air terminal.
As it was known, the team did not stay in a hotel, because the airline they were traveling with told them several times that their flight was regarding to take off, confident that the weather would improve but it did not.
In the morning hours, and with better weather, the Blue and White took a flight that takes them to Orlando and will be arriving at the host city, following noon.
There will be little time for Luis Fernando Tena’s team to train, while his rival in turn is already in the place, where he was able to do his respective practice.
The game is scheduled for this Wednesday at the Camping World Stadium, starting at 18:30 Guatemala time.
