The Guardian: Arsenal prioritize Isak

Alexander Isak is prioritized as a transfer target for Arsenal, according to The Guardian.
According to the newspaper, the national team star will cost almost 1.4 billion kroner.

Alexander Isaks is successful in Newcastle. Since arriving at the Premier League club, the striker has scored a whopping 31 goals in 61 competitive matches.

This season, the Swede has scored a total of 17 goals in the Premier League.

The success in Newcastle does not go unnoticed.

The majority of the British media have placed Isak in Arsenal following the success. Now The Guardian also states that the 24-year-old is actually considering a move to London and the “Gunners”.

According to the newspaper, Isak should be prioritized as a major transfer target during the summer’s upcoming transfer window. At the same time, it is stated that the Swedish national team star will cost around 100 million pounds, which corresponds to 1.36 billion kroner.

Should a transfer for that sum take place, Isak will be the most expensive Swedish player ever.

Isak joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022. Then the striker cost around SEK 740 million.

In addition to the aforementioned clubs, Isak has also represented Dutch Willem II, Borussia Dortmund and AIK during his career.

The contract with Newcastle runs until 2028.
