100 days have passed since the events of the great earthquake, a major rift struck the poles of the earth in both Syria and Turkey, leaving behind thousands of dead victims, tens of thousands of wounded, and billions of material losses.
After a hundred days, there are several questions that impose themselves. What is the fate of those who were homeless or who waited in hope for a house to shelter them? .. Did the world succeed in collaborating to curb the losses of that earthquake? And where did the efforts of the international organizations reach?
Do you remember these screams?.. Do you remember those long hours?.. A man searches for what is left of his family, another holds his daughter’s hand.. and a child gives the world a lesson in courage and love.
Families and huge numbers are sleeping on the cold ground and sheltering in the rainy and snowy weather, so where are they all following a hundred days of the great earthquake that struck both Turkey and Syria.
Unfair distribution
Despite all the aid and donations that followed the disaster, rumors of its unfair distribution to the earthquake-displaced people, whether in Turkey or Syria, resounded since the first days of the disaster.
News regarding the sale of tents for the displaced in Turkey and video clips in Syria reveal the lack of food and the scarcity of medicine.
In addition to the issue of northern Syria, whose residents have suffered from the most severe conditions, including delays in decision-making, neglect in providing aid, and closure of crossings, noting that Syria extended a few days ago the delivery of humanitarian aid to northern Syria for an additional three months, at the request of the United Nations. United.
In Turkey, promises were made to build 200,000 homes for those affected by the earthquake. Days pass, and some of those affected are still sleeping in tents.
One hundred days since the great earthquake in Syria and Turkey, promises are still on the table…the plans are in the intentions of those responsible…and the hopes are in the hearts of those affected…

Journalist Hisham Gunay from Istanbul says, in an interview with Sabah, “Sky News Arabia”:
- The situation is tragic in the earthquake zones. Those affected by the disaster are still living under tents.
- Waves of rain, dust and mud increase the suffering of the people there.
- The Turkish government is trying to help these people, but so far their situation is not required.
- There is a shortage of medical equipment and a mechanism for distributing aid.
- The issue of earthquakes was strongly raised on the election agenda, and there was a lot of publicity that the government helped those affected.
- The voter looked following his interest and voted for Erdogan’s government, that is, uh, he sees that if the government changes, he may not see the promises made by Erdogan’s government.
- Promises made by the government to deliver homes within a year.. Removing the rubble alone may take a year or a year and a half..so these promises are electoral promises only.
