The government's campaign kicks off in 70 cities and with a march in Caracas on June 4

The campaign of the chavismo for the presidential elections on July 28 with the occupation of 70 cities, including the capital of the country, where a large march will take place this Thursday, July 4.

Jorge Rodríguez, general coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra Siglo XXI campaign command, said that President Nicolás Maduro ordered the takeover of 70 as a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez.

“In Caracas, we are going to take it completely in a gigantic march that will start from Petare to Miraflores and from Catia to Miraflores,” said Rodriguez.

He said that the participation in the activity will include residents of the popular sectors, the hills, the neighborhoods and all the people, who will gather to join the mobilizations.

At an undetermined point along the route, the Caracas marches are expected to meet, leaving from areas both east and west to participate in a political activity.

The electoral simulation on Sunday, June 30, showed a great demonstration of strength and enthusiasm on the part of Chavismo.
