THE GOVERNMENT will integrate nine digital services in one application. Minister for Empowerment of State Civil Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-Rebiro) Abdullah Azwar Anas said President Joko Widodo or Jokowi ordered all ministries to immediately integrate various applications by May 2024 to connect to the national portal called INADIgital.

“The current situation is that people have to download various applications for each service,” said the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform following a closed meeting chaired by President Jokowi at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Monday (25/3).

Although not all applications belonging to ministries/institutions and regional governments are integrated. The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform said that in the near future there will be nine priority services on the INADIgital national portal, namely population administration, smart Indonesia program and smart Indonesia college card, hospital queues, doctor registration, registration certificate (STR), vaccine and immunization certification.

The President, added Anas, requested that obstacles to the procurement of a national portal be resolved immediately. A number of ministries, namely the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) and the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) were asked to support the budget.

“Earlier, there was a budget constraint, the president asked for it to be resolved immediately. There is a need to support the Dagri budget because of infrastructure, because if everything goes into it, it will be very large and we are worried that it will go down. The same goes for the Ministry of Communication and Information budget,” he explained.

Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie said that currently there are 27 thousand applications made by all ministries/institutions and regional governments. Kominfo is preparing a data center which will be ready in August 2024.

“Hopefully this August we will inaugurate the first national data center in Cikarang, because there are three, one in Batam, another in IKN (the capital city of the archipelago),” explained the Minister of Communication and Information. (Eng/Z-7)
