EIn response to questions from journalists during a press briefing after the weekly meeting of the Government Council, Mustapha Baitas pointed out that more clarifications would be presented on this subject just after the announcement of the new prices for fuels.
According to the government official, the value of this new tranche of support for professionals in the road transport sector will be fixed on the basis of the new fuel prices which will be announced at the beginning of August.
As a reminder, last March the government launched the process of exceptional support from professionals in the road transport sectorwith a view to preserving the purchasing power of citizens in the face of soaring fuel prices.
In addition, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics announced at the end of June that the government had decided to increase by 40% the value of the support granted to road transport professionals under the fourth tranche of support.
