“The Roca government cannot propose anything new to the city,” said last night the senator and president of Juntos Somos Río Negro, Alberto Weretilneck, during a dinner with all the candidates who will accompany Carlos Banacloy in the municipal elections on March 12.
The former president and candidate for governor spoke of the process led by the Soria family as “an exhausted question” Urging to support the candidacy of the former Minister of Production and Agroindustry, who is presented by the space Rocky Pride.
At the AVGR headquarters, the leaders of Together We Are Río Negro, from the UCR, from Nos Une Río Negro (which will go to the city through Nuevo Encuentro), from the Popular Patagonian Movement, from the Democratic Opening Movement and from Networksthe six collecting lists that will lead to Banacloy for communal chief, but who will have their own applicants for the Deliberative and the Court of Accounts.
“What was generated with the great agreement from Río Negro, in Roca it is much more advanced and it is palpable. The Roquenses can observe how leaders of different parties, business, commerce, production and work, without losing their individuality, address a common project, which is having a Rock that is much more integrated into the province, a Rock with much more respect, a Rock that is the protagonist of the province, with the leadership of Carlos Banacloy but with the participation of many sectors”, said Weretilneck.
The senator spoke of the importance of having “an overcoming project”, because “the Roca government cannot propose anything new to the city. It is an exhausted question”.
“It is a project that does not generate anything in the medium and long term, proposals are not heard, there is no self-criticism of what is happening”, he questioned, before affirming that “the most delicate thing is isolation”.
“The Soria family isolates Roca from the provincial and national spheres, because they are incapable of generating a link with other political actors and with the neighbors themselves,” he emphasized.
Why can’t you talk with the Soria family?
Given that diagnosis, BLACK RIVER He asked him why there can be dialogue with sectors of Peronism and with Sorismo there was no progress in the same direction.
“For themselves, for the way of resolving the different points of view. Look at the unpleasant and shameful thing that happened to Senator Doñate last week, when he was wronged and insulted throughout the province with funds from the Ministry of Justice of the Nation and with officials in charge of Minister Soria. This clearly speaks of the fact that what we are seeing here is not within the Soria family’s way of doing politics: being able to meet, discuss important issues, accept things that are wrong, be self-critical, ”he replied.
At the press conference, I also asked him how it was explained that Sorismo had won in the neighborhoods for 20 years.
“It is the first time that there is a proposal of these characteristics. Until 2019, all those who did not agree with the way of driving Roca were separated. Now we all agree on a common project, ”he assessed.
During his message to the candidates and leaders of the parties that support Banacloy, Weretilneck stated that In Roca the same thing that happened in Bariloche following 2011 has to happen, remembering that in the last years of radicalism in power there was a marked rupture between the Province and that municipality, something that might be reversed to reach the current scenario of “deep integration” between these two State structures.
On the provincial project, he insisted on highlighting the benefits of the agreements reached with other political parties and unions, business sectors, ensuring that it is not a scheme with mere electoral meaning.
From that concept, BLACK RIVER He asked him what difference this project has with the traditional political dialogue and why they now sought to integrate these sectors to the lists and did not seek to win an election and then summon the opposition blocs.
He replied that this path was defined “for the sense of belonging” and “by the fact that the project was born before the election makes us all owners of this project.”
“The fact of feeling like an owner gives you another type of participation. Besides, I think For the challenges that Río Negro has ahead, it is not enough just with Juntos and its leadership. I assume that within radicalism, Peronism, the business sector and the working sector there are women and men who can do things better than what we are doing. The task will be, following the 16th, to begin to come together in a government Executive that reflects all the idiosyncrasies ”, he concluded.
