Two storeys and over ten meters long: The Goose is the flagship among mobile small houses and yet it can be pulled on any street. A special trailer makes this possible.

A tiny house can be that big these days. With two floors and a length of up to 10.5 meters, the goose – The Goose – a full-fledged apartment. The design comes from Tiny Heirloom. The company has been offering a whole ensemble of small, movable houses for years. All with a special and outstanding design. The Goose is the flagship of the fleet.

The name “Goose” is derived from the trailer on which the house is built. The pendant shape is called Gooseneck. It differs significantly from a normal trailer. It is not hooked to the end of the towing vehicle, but is attached to the top of the loading area of a pick-up in a special coupling, one might also speak of a mini articulated lorry. In this way, the length of the combination is reduced by several metres, and the combination is also much more manoeuvrable than a standard trailer of the same length. The whole house is as wide as a large truck, and despite its length, it can be pulled on the road normally: Narrow streets in the old town and country lanes should still be avoided.

Special shape of the trailer

On the Goose, the second stick extends across this clutch. The double bed is directly above her. The house can be ordered in the three lengths in which these trailers are built. The smallest model measures 27 feet (8.22 meters), the medium 30 feet (9.14 meters) – the largest 34 feet (10.36 meters).

Because Tiny Heirloom models are custom-made for each customer, the interior can be customized. Interested parties have to fill out a questionnaire before purchasing, where they are asked how many people live in the household and what style they feel comfortable in.

Tiny Heirloom also ships The Goose to Europe, but recommends only shipping parts and having the house completed by a partner company in the EU.

On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with double beds. They are on opposite ends so there is some privacy. In the center are the living area and a full bathroom.

The large window areas open the house to the surrounding landscape, which means that the rooms appear very spacious despite their small dimensions. The central room extends to the pitched roof, the room also appears larger due to the great height. Nice detail: Two exposed beams are reminiscent of the style of modern farmhouses in the USA.

Prices start at the equivalent of 73,000 euros. The mobile home is not really cheap.
