The first general meeting for the new office of the Manhac festival committee took place recently. It was Géraldine Andrieu, one of the co-presidents, who immediately took the floor. The moral balance is positive for the party last August. Like many other events for two years and in connection with the health crisis, not all events might take place. Hence the importance of getting together, among members, of revitalizing themselves together to make this summer festival a strong point for the village.
That said, the financial results are positive and already call for a great program for 2023. On the agendas, we can note August 5 with the night hike, August 6, with the calf’s head and tripous lunch, an aperitif with La Cariole, the climbing wall for children, pétanque, dinner with Duo à 2 and No Réso. The program is not yet completely complete. Before concluding the assembly, the office was renewed. Bénédicte Maurel and Juliette Pouget leave their post, while Marylène Juéry joins the office composed of Géraldine Andrieu, Séverine Coste, Florence Pouget and Thierry Cadars co-presidents, Julie Gares secretary, Marylène Juéry assistant secretary, Mathieu Alary treasurer, Annie Capgras, coordinator.
The committee welcomed two new members, Chantal and Patrick Dupérier. And it was around an aperitif dinner that the evening ended, so as to “to find a meaning in life following these two complicated years, because it is the goal of any association to be the life of a village, of a municipality, where in rural areas the social bond is more and more important and even essential”.
