It was the great favorite and has fulfilled all the forecasts. ‘The good boss’, the film that Fernando León de Aranoa has outlined in the key of social satire with that criticism that the director likes to cultivate so much, has been the great winner of the Fierce Awards which were held in the Zaragoza Auditorium by obtaining three statuettes. A city, the Aragonese capital, which has once once more shown that it is committed to cinema and whose citizens have braved the cold to wrap up the protagonists first on the red carpet and, later, when each of the winners went out to offer their prize to those gathered there.
The critics have not deviated much from the opinion of the producers and they have also opted for ‘El Buen Patron’ as the best production of the year. The big night of the movie has opened it Javier Bardem with Feroz to leading actor (curiously, the first he gets in his career) and it was precisely him who gave the Feroz to best screenplay to Fernando León de Aranoa in what has been a beautiful image of a couple who have found the key in their joint work. The icing has come with the Feroz a best comedy movie which has raised the awards to three prizes for a film that is already the top favorite in the Goya which will be delivered on February 12.
But together with ‘The good boss’, the other great winner of the night was Rodrigo Cortés that the Feroz has taken to best direction by ‘love in its place in one of what can be considered surprises of the night.
‘Maixabel’ and ‘Parallel Mothers’ they were the two main rivals of ‘The good boss’ and although they haven’t left empty, it can be said that with a poor harvest despite the fact that the first has been recognized as the best dramatic film and supporting actor and the second has won up to three Feroz (supporting actress, original music and poster).
Regarding the interpretation, Petra Martínez has established herself as the best actress protagonist with his role in ‘Life was that’ ahead of greats of the interpretation that he has celebrated praising masturbation, “something that is totally silent”, while in the Feroz cast the winners have been Urko Olazabal for ‘Maixabel’ and Aitana Sánchez-Gijón for ‘Parallel Mothers’.
All in one night Nacho Vigalondo and Paula Púa have conducted a gala (with a majority female presence) in which they wanted to take a look at the city, going so far as to remove a cobblestone from Paula Púa’s hair or even alluding to movie names that the streets of Zaragoza have and, how not remembering the first film of the story shot in the Plaza del Pilar or joking regarding the size of the Delicias station.

One of the biggest ovations of the night has taken her ‘Sacred Spirit’, by Chema García Ibarra, one of the minority sensations of the season, which has been made in the Outburst of Fiction, “a small island of nonconformism”, which critics like to reward so much. But, above that ovation has been that of Cecilia Bartolomé, who has received an emotional tribute receiving the Feroz de Honor from six filmmakers, among whom were the Aragonese Paula Ortiz and Pilar Palomero, who have praised her feminist career in some difficult years to be.
As for the series, Venga Juan has been the great winner of the night by winning three Feroz, for best comedy series, leading actor with Javier Cámara and supporting actress with María Pujalte. A brilliant epilogue for a series that has reached its final season. Cardo, meanwhile, has been chosen best dramatic series and its leading actress, Ana Rujas, has also won the Feroz. The list of winners of the series has been completed with Enric Auquer, Feroz as a supporting actor for Perfect Life.
