The Gonzalez family from Large Families will be away for several days because Mélanie and Franck, the parents, are going to Morocco for work. A separation that already worries Mélanie, as she explained on her Instagram account.
The Gonzalez are an emblematic family of large families: life in XXL. Mélanie, Franck and their eight children, Margot, Nino, Paolo, Elio, Hugo, Malo, Cléo and Marceau, show us their daily life without taboo. In recent times, they have also been faced with a few small hassles, in particular the injury to Nino’s arm in hockey and that to the knee of Franck, the father of the family.
But this time it’s emotional stress that worries the mom, as she revealed on her account Instagram Thursday, April 27, 2023. Indeed, the couple will soon be flying to Marrakech to attend seminars planned as part of Franck’s work, and will have to be away from their eight children for a week.
Mélanie apprehends the separation!
If Mélanie was looking forward to this trip, planned for more than a year and a half, she quickly realized that she had never been separated from her children for such a long period. “We’ve never been away this long without the kids. We sometimes go away for two days, three days. Maximum, we had done four days in Portugal. But there, eight days without my Smurfs! Suddenly, it put me under stress because even in terms of honeymoon or things like that, we never did. Each time I was pregnant or breastfeeding“, explains the mother of the family.
A family rarely separated
The mother of the “Gonzalez tribe” explained that with each separation, she only thinks of one thing: to find her children! The couple only spends a few moments together, everything is always done as a family.
“Already there this weekend, we left without the children at the wedding. On Sunday, we mightn’t take it anymore. (…) I was just looking forward to hugging my darlings. And there eight days. I have a little lump in my stomach. I wonder how it will turn out. Because I have always been with our children. We go on vacation with them. And then a week!”
Mélanie and Franck are very close to their children, they share everything with them and every decision is made with the whole family. This is also the case for the parents’ desire to welcome a ninth child into the (large) family, Mélanie and Franck expressed this desire to their children… who also voted “for”!
