“The Golden Stallion “De Siraj” dominates the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship – Emirates News Agency”

On Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 9:37 PM, the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship came to a close with the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The event showcased a group of the world’s most prominent horses and hosted 151 horses in 14 categories competing for a total prize money of $4 million. After the competitions on the third and final day, six finals were established, and the title of Golden Stallion in the Stallions Championship was awarded to “De Siraj” of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, while the Ajman Stud’s stallion “AJ Kafu” won second place and the silver medal, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi’s stallion “AS Prince” received third place. The horse “De Siraj” was rewarded with a $275,000 financial prize, and the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud came out on top, winning eight different medals (four gold, one silver, and three bronzes). The conclusion of the championship was attended by several notable individuals, including Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, and His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs. The event was organized by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ziyad Galadari, and included many other members of the committee.

DUBAI, 19th March, 2020 (WAM) — Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” the curtain fell this evening on the competitions of the 20th edition of the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship, which was held at the Dubai Trade Center. The global event, with the participation of a group of the most prominent horses that descend from the finest horse breeds in the world.
After the conclusion of the competitions of the third and final day, which witnessed the establishment of 6 finals, His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, crowned the horse “De Siraj” of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud with the title of Golden Stallion in the Stallions Championship.
“De Siraj” won a financial prize of $275,000, while the stallion “AJ Kafu” of the Ajman Stud won second place and the silver medal and won a financial prize of $165,000, while the stallion “AS Prince” of Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi came third. And he got 60 thousand dollars.
The number of horses participating in the tournament in all its categories reached 151 horses in 14 categories, competing for a total prize money of $4 million.

In the rest of the final day’s competitions, the filly “De Asra” of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud won the first place award in the one-year-old foals championship, and won a prize of $ 60,000, while the filly “AJ Rasil” of the Ajman Stud won second place and the silver medal. And a prize of $40,000, while the filly De Sheikha, of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, won the third place, the bronze medal and $25,000.
In the Fillies Championship, she won the first place and the gold medal for the filly “AJK” for the Ajman stud, and she won a financial prize of 215 thousand dollars, while the filly “De Tharie” won the silver medal for the Qatari Al Wajba stud and won 110 thousand dollars, while the filly “De Rasil” came Dubai Stud for Arabian Horses finished third and won the bronze medal and a prize of $60,000.
In the Mare Championship, the mare “De Shihana” of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud won the first place and the gold medal, and won a financial prize of $275,000, while the mare, “Bsanderstemochailo” of the Ajman Stud, won the silver medal and a cash prize of $165,000. The mare “Al-Aryam Violet” for the Ajman Stud won the bronze medal and a prize of $60,000.
In the one-year-old foals championship, the dowry “AJ Sayer” of the Ajman Stud won the first place and the gold medal, and a cash prize of $60,000, while the dowry “D Fahr” of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud won the second place and the silver medal, and a cash prize of $40. One thousand dollars, while the colt “Baher Al Shaqab” won the third place for the Qatari Al Shaqab Stud, and won the bronze medal, and a cash prize of $25,000.
In the Colts Championship, the dowry “De Shahar” of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud ranked first and won the gold medal and won a cash prize of $215,000, while the dowry “Falah Al-Hawajer” by Dr. Ghanem Muhammad Obaid Al-Hajri won second place and a silver medal, and won a cash prize of $110.
