Yahya Gibran, captain of Wydad Casablanca, spoke regarding his future with the African champion in light of the offers he received recently.
Gibran said in statements to “Radio Mars”: “I will continue with Wydad until the end of the season, and then I will see my future.”
“I have offers, but my current thinking is with the team,” he added.
And Moroccan press reports had revealed, earlier, that the 31-year-old had received an offer from Zamalek to obtain his services. See details
Yahya Gibran’s contract with Wydad will expire at the end of the current season, so the player will be available to move to any club for free.
Yahya Gibran was crowned with Wydad during the current season with the League and African Champions League titles at the expense of Al-Ahly following defeating the Egyptian champions (2-0).
The Wydad team has the opportunity to compete for the treble through the Moroccan Cup (Throne Cup), as the team reached the semi-finals following beating rivals Raja on Thursday (2-0).
