Al-Hilal, the champion of the Saudi Professional League this season, gave a pleasant surprise to its fans, amid the joys of being crowned with the precious title (Monday), well-deserved.
Al Hilal revealed, through his official account on the social networking site “Twitter”, the renewal of the contract of his South Korean defender Jang Hyun, to remain in the team’s ranks next season.
Jang appeared in a video clip next to the Saudi League title, in which he says: “Peace be upon you, Al Hilal fans, a good end for the team and for the audience, and also for me, because I am Hilal .. See you next season.”
Jang has been one of the main pillars of the team since he joined in the summer of 2019 from Tokyo, Japan.
Several press reports speculated that Jang Hyun is on his way to leave Al Hilal at the end of the season at the request of his wife.
The 30-year-old Korean defender played 115 matches in the Al Hilal shirt, during which he scored 3 goals, and contributed to crowning the team with 7 local and continental titles.
