The German minister needs a photographer; Salary Rs.73.50 lakh per annum

ZURICH∙ Robert Habeck, in charge of Germany’s economy and environment ministries, needs a photographer to improve his “image”. Salary 3.5 lakh Euros for four years. That is 87,500 Euros (Rs 73.50 Lakhs) a year. What if you look?

Good photos that do not damage the image of the minister, and the pictures recommended by the ministry, should be taken to be published in various media. Although Berlin is the place of work, the minister has to accompany him on his travels. The notification says that although the initial appointment will be from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024, the employment will be extendable for another two years.

Minister Habek, a Green Party member, is not alone in placing a photographer on a hefty salary for “image” buildup. The German Development Minister’s photographer earns almost the same salary. In the German Chancellor’s office, four photographers are working to improve the image. The construction minister’s photographer is the lowest paid. 20,865 euros for a 17-month assignment there.
