The Generosity of Ousseynou Diouf: Supporting Community Development through Mosque Construction

The head of the Alliance for the Republic (Apr) in the commune of Thiès-Ouest, Ousseynou Diouf responded favorably to the request of the inhabitants of the village of Mbambara Keur Karamoko, a village nestled in the heart of the commune of Fandene. Indeed, the “social man” made his contribution to the construction and completion of the work on the mosque in the said village. A jewel for the faithful Khadres of this village founded by Mame Cheikh Bou Kounta. The latter made the trip to take part in the inauguration ceremony, on Friday December 22, 2023. The said ceremony was chaired by Ousseynou Diouf, the former spokesperson for the Kountiyou family Papa Abdourahmane Kounta, who came to represent Serigne Cheikh Bouh Sidy Mokhtar Kounta Caliph of Ndiassane. Speaking, he praised the gesture of the benefactor who, according to him, understood the recommendations of Islam on the importance of contributing to the construction of a mosque. The imam of this place of worship through his spokesperson of the day and the representative of the Caliph warmly thanked the benefactor before formulating prayers in his favor. In addition, Ousseynou Diouf, a Thiessois who has finished winning the hearts of the populations of the rail city thanks to his charitable actions, is committed to supporting this locality as part of their project to build an Islamic complex for the teaching of Islamic Sciences and the memorization of the Holy Quran for young people in this region very close to the city of Thiès. Thus, the political leader of the presidential movement praised the dynamism of his coalition brothers who sealed a unity so that they could finally work on behalf of President Macky Sall in the direction of the presidential election scheduled for Sunday February 25, 2024.
