In implementation of the high instructions of His Majesty, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of National Defense Administration received, on Monday at the headquarters of this administration in Rabat, Marshal Berhanu Gelalcha, Chief of General Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom, from August 25 to 29, at the head of an important delegation.

A statement from the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces said that after reviewing the status of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense and the possibilities of strengthening it, the two officials expressed, during this meeting, their satisfaction with the distinguished level reached by the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, expressing their aspiration and common desire to strengthen these exemplary relations in the future.
On the same day, and upon the high instructions of His Majesty, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, received at the General Command Headquarters of the Royal Armed Forces, Marshal Berhanu Gola Gelalcha, Chief of General Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces.

The same source pointed out that during the working session attended by the two delegations, the heads of the two delegations discussed various aspects of cooperation, praising the level of relations between the two armies.
