N-tv.de did research and found out the following: Robert Geiss founded the sportswear company “Uncle Sam” together with his brother Michael in 1986. Eight years later, they said they sold the company for 140 million German marks and divided the money between themselves.
Shortly before, Robert Geiss had met and fallen in love with the fitness trainer Carmen Schmitz. The couple, who married in 1994, have been living in the Principality of Monaco for almost 30 years now – which is particularly advantageous from a tax perspective.

In November 2022, reality star Geiss put his assets at around 100 million euros. “This is the pension, this is the basis so that I can still live at the age of 70,” said the now 59-year-old «OMR Podcast».
However, every now and then there are doubts about the Geissens’ wealth. Carmen Geiss recently pointed this out in an interview with «Bild» back:

According to “Bild”, Robert and Carmen Geiss own a property in Monaco, a villa in the south of France and a chalet in the French Alps. Last year, the couple is said to have bought a 500 square meter apartment in Dubai. The reason for this: The family of four wants to be able to escape the cold winter months there.
Robert Geiss: “Wirecard cost me money”

Robert Geiss once calculated that the income per episode would be around 60,000 euros. Applied to the current season, this would result in income of around 2.3 million euros.
In spring 2015, the Geissens also opened in the Saint-Tropez region Luxury hotel Maison Prestige. The operator is “Roberto Geissini”, and the family of four also sells a fashion brand under this label.
Robert and Carmen Geiss are also said to be active in the real estate business, i.e. buying houses and apartments and reselling them at a higher price after renovation. The family of four is also likely to earn quite a bit of money from their contracts.
Robert Geiss has also invested in stocks – but not only successfully. “Wirecard cost me money. But thank God there were only a few hundred thousand who were gone,” he explained in the “OMR Podcast”.
Carmen Geiss: “You should always make more money”
Only the Geissens themselves and their bank advisors probably know how much money the family actually owns. «We have a joint account. No matter who earns how much, everything goes up there and down again,” said Carmen Geiss in “Bild” at the beginning of the year.
“We both know: You should always earn more money than you spend. We have lived by this motto our entire lives,” added Robert Geiss.
And further: “Of course we spend a lot of money when we buy houses or jewelry. But we invest wisely. And we know how much a pound of butter costs. That’s how we were raised at home. We weren’t born millionaires.”
